Volunteer Code of Conduct
Purpose of the volunteer code of conduct:
- To contribute towards a constructive and pleasant atmosphere for volunteers.
- To ensure that all volunteers know what behavior they have a right to expect from other volunteers.
- To ensure all volunteers know what behavior is expected of them whilst volunteering for GCFA.
GCFA
- Will not force any volunteer to do any works which they are unwilling to do or which is against the values of their academic institution and against personal and moral obligation.
- Will provide a safe atmosphere in which to volunteer.
- GCFA reserves the total rights to withdraw any volunteer from the program at any time.
Volunteers
- Respects the people he/she meets, without distinction of age, sex, race, religion, nationality, ideology or wealth.
- Conduct yourself in a manner that is befitting a positive organizational image.
- Show up on time and dressed appropriately for scheduled events and shifts.
- Will avoid profane and abusive language and disruptive behavior that is dangerous to self and others.
- Respect and use all equipment appropriately and as required for their assigned area.
- Will not use, posses, or be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs at any time while volunteering.
