2025 Fall Tackle

The East Wake Football League is a competitive tackle football program. Our coaches strive to provide a high level of instruction that focuses on the fundamentals of the game giving your athlete the skills to succeed. We teach shoulder tackling using the “Heads Up” technique outlined by USA Football.

Register by June 1, 2025, to get your choice of number (first come, first take), custom jersey (name on back), and player pack.

All registered athletes get FREE admission to all our off-season football camps and skill sessions. The fee for non-registered athletes is $10 per camp or skill session.

If you register after June 1, 2025, you may have additional shipping charges for the uniform.

Age Divisions: Mini Mites 6-8, Mighty Mites 9-10, and Pee Wee 11-12 (Age of player determined by age August 1, 2025.)

Location: Practices and home games are at West Johnston High School. Away games will involve local travel within the EWFL.

Schedule: Practices are held on Monday-Thursday until school begins and then M, T, and Th for the remainder of the season. Games are on Saturday, typically in the afternoon. The season will start on Monday, July 28, and, depending on game and playoff schedules will be completed by the end of November.

Uniforms: The registration fee includes custom game jerseys to keep and the use of padded game pants, helmets, and shoulder pads during the season. If you register by June 1, players will receive the complete player pack mentioned above, number choice, and custom jersey. Players must provide their cleats, padded practice pants, practice jerseys, and mouthpieces.
